2nd and 4th Saturday 9:30 AM at the Church.
The Church of God at Baden has been providing assistance for homeless men and women in the St. Louis area for many years. In the early days, very few churches or ministries found it necessary to provide these services. We are very happy to report that in the past few years, many churches and groups have joined this effort. Now homeless people in the downtown area of St. Louis, receive help seven days a week.
With that in mind and with the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will be focusing our energies on Baden and other North St. Louis neighborhoods. We have expanded our range to include, Baden, O’Fallon Park, Fairground Park, Hyde Park and the area extending from Riverview on the North, Natural Bridge on the West, Broadway on the East, and ML King on the South.
While we do have a few other stops, this is the focus on our homeless run. We supply an average of 30 people with food on a weekly basis and would like to expand our help to include much more.
Please pray about your involvement, whether through donations, attendance or both. Beginning this fall, my hopes are to meet some physical needs for these men and women. We have compiled a list of items suggested by a group of men and women of the Baden church.
Please consider donating and delivering these items.
